As specified by Standards Australia and
workcover organizations all Australian
workplaces must have their electrical items
tested on a regular basis under occupational
health and safety legislation. The testing is
performed on each item, the frequency of each
test depends on what the item is used for and
the environment the item is used in. All
electrical items must be checked whether
it’s in the workshop or an office
environment, each item must also be tagged with
the appropriate coloured tag or a failed tag
than recorded in a register that must be kept
on site.
- At “No Sparks” we
offer a complete service with the tagging of all
portable electrical items and we also keep a
computerized record of all the items in your
workplace. This record will include what location
and last test date and next due test date and all
other relevant information required. As part of
the service we will print and bind the report in
a neat presentation for you to keep at your
site.
- We will also maintain a
database of all your items we test with return
test dates and notify you one month before as to
when we will return. If you have multiple sites
you may choose between the option of having one
invoice for all your sites or be charged for each
individual site.
- As an extra service we will
arrange for the repair of your equipment by an
approved electrical repairer, costs for repairs
will be charged directly to your
business.
